MONDAY 30TH SEPT. DEADLINE TO HAND IN:
1. Cafetería long term assignment:
- Plans (1st floor, 2nd floor, Roof floor)
- Elevations (north, south, east, west)
- Sections (3 sections, at least: through the stair facing towards the kitchen, trough the black room close to the stairs, and one longitudinal)
- Furniture (table and chair)
2. Short term assignments

- serbian scultptures

3. Autocad

Everything in A3,clean, with your name, date, and well organized.

CAFETERIA LONG TERM ASSIGNMENT
I E UNIVERSITY, Cafeteria
The purpose is to develop the first architect drawing from direct contact with the
immediate reality. The exercise will involve a preliminary sketch, making plans, sections
and elevations, then measuring the building, and then draw it in AutoCAD.
The assignment will consist of the following documents:
Freehand drawings:
- Sketch drawings in A3/A4 format, pencil, freehand drawings (elevations plans sections
with dimensions and perspective views + details, furniture and architecture) done in the
site. (The students will perform as many as needed for an adequate understanding of
the building).
- Elaborated drawings in the adequate scale. A3, well organized, and then all of them in
AutoCAD printed out in A3 (the autocad plans will be done in teams)
a- Ground Floor and First Floor PLANS (not drawing the interior of kitchen) (2)
b- 2 Elevations and Side Elevations (4)
c- Longitudinal section through the middle of the building (1)
d- Transversal Section (2)
e- Situation plan (1)
f- Furniture (chair and table)
Students should pay special attention to proportion and graphic conventions. The
drawing scale will be the maximum possible within the A3 format so the plan fits
completely the page in its maximum length.
Due date to hand in all the documents: OCTOBER 14. 2013
